You Want to KAYAKFISH?

u came to the right place. Whether buying a new Fishing kayak from KAYAKFISH or used one from anyone.

There is a lot of information to ask yourself before buying any fishing kayak.

Most Important are you speaking to the right people for advice. People who not only own or owned fishing kayaks but those with many sea hours. We see it time and time again, bad advice being shared by people with little experience. So make sure you are speaking to the right people. We can  save you money.

When choosing a fishing kayak. Its best to choose one most suited for fishing at the spot you will be fishing 99% of the time.

UNDERSTAND WHERE AND WHAT U HOPE TO GET OUT OF THIS NEXT PURCHASE:
  1. Are you buying the kayak for fishing;paddling or surfing waves? Or maybe a bit of everything? (You can’t have the best of all worlds in one kayak unfortunately. But you can get pretty close with a Stealth Surf Fisha 470 (before the upgrade version it was called a  Stealth supalite BFS)
  2. Where are u kayaking mostly? Are you likely going to be doing long or short distance paddles most of the time, or both?
If you are not paddling long distance often and you are prepared to suck it up and spend a few more minutes catching up with the faster kayaks when necessary then maybe look at something more versatile than super fast.
  3. What is your budget? New kayaks range between 15-18K
  4. There are used Kayaks around for between 6K-13K. (KAYAKFISH sometimes have used ski’s available)
  5. Can your store a 4-5M+ kayak and do you have roof racks to transport it.

” There are many different brands of fishing kayak available.I personally choose to fish off a Stealth kayak for a number of reasons. Not only because KAYAKFISH is a dealer. Kayak fishing has been a passion for many years. Having tried most fishing kayaks i  decided Stealth was the best kayak fishing platform currently available, …if there were a better kayak to fish off i would own one and KAYAKFISH would be marketing that brand as well.”

Dont just take our word for it. Ask any Kayak Fisherman who are the leading brand of fishing kayaks in S.A. Also check the brand choice of 99% of seasoned kayak fisherman around is. Its better to wait till you have budget for a good fishing kayak than to buy something because the price is cheaper for that particular brand. Buying something which you end up selling because it’s not right or as nice as what you initially thought or where advised (by the wrong person). It’s a waste of money and time. So speaking to the right guys is key!!
